Precautions for use:

1. This instrument is strictly calibrated and inspected before leaving the factory, and can work normally after being turned on. Please read the instrument manual carefully and strictly follow the requirements before operation. The instrument power supply must be measured within the specified voltage and frequency error range, otherwise it will affect the measurement accuracy.

2. Be careful when loading and unloading the rotor. Gently lift the connector at the bottom of the instrument upwards before disassembling. Do not apply too much force and do not subject the rotor to lateral force to prevent it from bending. The connection head and rotor connection end face and thread should be kept clean, otherwise it will affect the correct connection and stability of the rotor during rotation.

3. After installing the rotor, do not "rotate" it in the absence of liquid to avoid damaging the shaft tip and bearings.

4. After each use, the rotor should be cleaned in a timely manner. When cleaning, the rotor should be disassembled for cleaning. It is strictly prohibited to clean the rotor on the instrument. After cleaning, the rotor should be properly stored in a safe box.

5. When moving and transporting the instrument, the rotor connection head should be lifted and the yellow protective cap should be screwed on

6. Note: Before powering on the instrument, the yellow protective cap must be unscrewed to prevent damage to the instrument. Do not disassemble or adjust the components of the instrument at will, and do not add lubricating oil by yourself.

7. Many suspensions, emulsions, polymers, and other viscous liquids are "non Newtonian liquids", and their apparent viscosity varies with the time of shear velocity. Therefore, when measured at different rotors, speeds, and times, the results are not normal and are not instrument inaccurate (generally, the determination of non Newtonian liquids should specify the rotor, speed, and time).

The viscosity can be measured by achieving the following points:

A. Control the temperature of the measured liquid.

B. Immerse the rotor in the measured liquid for a sufficient amount of time while maintaining a constant temperature, so that it can match the temperature of the measured liquid.

C. Ensure the uniformity of the liquid.

D. When measuring, try to place the rotor at the center of the container as much as possible.

E. Prevent bubbles from adhering to the underside of the rotor when it is immersed in liquid.

F. Use a protective frame for measurement.

G. Ensure the cleanliness of the rotor.

H. Strictly follow the operating instructions.
